  beloved, i call upon you, as strangers and sojourners, to keep from the fleshly desires, that war against the soul,.

  1) didn't god give us fleshly desires?.

  2) isn't it the fleshly things that give us pleasure?.

  while sitting at the meeting today i was thinking about how the wt simplistically compartmentalizes the bible.

  everything is tied up in neat little packages.

  it made me think that this is the way you would teach a kindergartner about the bible.

  Are Your Feelings Hurt By JWs That Come Here And Say Nasty Things?

  some witnesses come here and try to rebel rouse.

  some treat us very harshly and are very judgmental.

  what do you say to such witnesses?.

  without the mathmatical gymnastics of"a day for a year "adam did not die on the day he ate the forbidden fruit.. had he been aware of the consequences of his actions then possibly he could be held accountable to some degree.. according to my understanding of the account adam did nothing wrong.

  mans inhumanity to man and the senceless tragities in the world are fully accountable to god.

  i haven't been to a meeting for at least 3years.

  my wife and i have been married before and we have been married for about 9 months.

  since we got married my wife has been going to the meetings to get reinstated (she wants to have a relationship with her kids and with mine as we have both had grandkids now).

  what the hell.... i still own the house that my estranged husband lives in, into which he is moving his jw sister and her husband and five children.

  they are not all moved in yet and are still working on the house.

  my washing machine broke at my townhouse and i asked a week ago last friday if i could come over and do my laundry at the house.
